Two Charged With Breaking Into Hospice in Burlington, Doing $60,000 In Damage

Burlington, NC -- Police in Burlington have identified two suspects who allegedly broke into Hospice Home Office on Chapel Hill Rd. February 24.

During the break-in, the suspects stole various items and caused $60,000 worth of damage. Police said a citizen contacted them with information about the suspects Friday.

Officers obtained a warrant and searched a home on Turrentine St. Items reported stolen were found in the home, according to police.

Police have charged Joseph Leonard Patrick, 19, with Breaking And Entering A Business, Larceny (Felony), Possession Of Stolen Goods, and Injury To Real Property.

Michael Alan Thomas, 19, was identified as the second suspect. His charges are pending.
