Triad -- Don't be surprised if you see some snow falling this morning. As a low pressure system continues to move east across the state, we could have snow showers wrapping around and moving into the Triad.
The good news is that temperatures should remain above freezing and moisture should be limited- so it isn't likely that there will be many problems due to winter precipitation. Through the morning, you may have snow mixed with rain. There could be light accumulations on grassy areas. Most roadways should be fine.
By the afternoon, temperatures will be in the 40s, so stray showers should be the rule. A bigger concern will be the winds. Winds will be out of the northwest 15-25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. There is a wind advisory in effect for the whole area until 9 PM Wednesday evening.
By Thursday, the sun will return. It will still be cool and breezy, but precipitation should not be a problem through the weekend.
