Four Oaks, NC -- Investigators are still looking for the cause of an explosion that left one person dead in a barn Saturday, according to WRAL.
Authorities say a barn in Four Oaks in Johnston County exploded into flames around 9 a.m. Crews responded to the home on Highway 301 South after neighbors reported the explosion.
The victim's name and gender have not been released. The body was sent to the medical examiner's office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy to determine the cause of death and assist in identification.
Investigators do not know what caused the fire, but they did find methamphetamine components in the barn.
