Cary, NC - A warrant made public Tuesday revealed hundreds of counterfeit gun accessories were seized by the US Department of Homeland Security from a home in Cary this month, according to WRAL.
Agents believed the parts were illegally bought and sold by the homeowner.
Authorities said they seized nearly 1,600 accessories for military assault rifles from a home on Daybreak Bluff Drive.
Homeland Security agents who were inspecting packages at a DHL hub warehouse in Morrisville noticed three suspicious packages addressed to the home, according to an affidavit obtained by WRAL.
The packages had sight devices for AR15s, which investigators later determined to be counterfeit.
