Greensboro, NC -- After 22 years, Precious Bradley is taking the next step to finding her biological parents.
"I won't stop looking," said Precious Bradley.
Bradley is asking for the community's help to pay for a forensic sketch of her biological parents. The artist will create a sketch of a possible member of Bradley's family, which could help find her parents.
"I often wonder where my eyes come from. I have one dimple, where does it come from," said Bradley.
The soon-to-be North Carolina A&T graduate, said her life will be complete once she finds her birth parents. And she believes this is the next step to possibly finding her biological parents.
"It's a lot of questions and a lot of answers that is going to come with knowing, who is my biological family is and I think it's time to know."
In August 2012, Bradley visited the place where she was found 21 years ago, on the steps of a church daycare on Dillard Street in Greensboro on Jan. 19, 1991. On Sunday, Bradley spoke to WFMY News 2's Tony Smith.
"This is just another step to finding my answer," she said. "I feel like, if I can raise this $750, then this is definitely going to give me another piece of hope. That's just really all I have to go on is hope and faith."
She was abandoned when she was only two weeks old. Bradley was adopted by foster parents before being adopted by two loving parents from Jacksonville, NC. Bradley said she learned about being adopted when she about 9 years old.
Bradley is currently a senior at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro. The soon-to-be graduate says she wants to find the mom and dad who left her on those steps.
"I could honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for God and His strength," said Bradley.
She has no birth records and absolutely nothing to go on as she focuses on her search for her parents.
"I really need to know who you are and to see if you look like me. I feel like...I really need to find out some information that can help me in the future," said Bradley.
A fund has been set up for her mission to raise money for the forensic sketch of her biological parents. You can go to any Wells Fargo bank branch and donate to the "Precious J. Bradley Fund."
If you have any information, Bradley can be contacted by email.
