Greensboro, NC -- More than 220-thousand women in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer each year and 40-thousand will die of it.
The Belk-Gives On The Go Mobile Mammography Center is hoping to change those statistics. The first week of April, the mobile center will be parked outside triad Belk Stores.
Women over the age of 40, with or without insurance, are urged to call for an appointment. The mammogram is free.
Belk's Michelle Huneycutt gave WFMY News 2 a tour of the mobile unit.
Tuesday, April 2nd: Hanes mall on Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem from 9:30am-7pm
Thursday, April 4th: Friendly Center in Greensboro from 9:30am-7pm.
Saturday, April 6th: Alamance crossing on Watermill Drive in Burlington 9:30am-7pm
