Man Robbed At SunTrust Bank In Burlington, Suspects Left In Stolen Car

Burlington, NC -- Police in Burlington are looking for a man and woman who allegedly robbed a man at a bank Friday afternoon. 

The victim told police a man came up from behind him after he entered the SunTrust Bank located on Maple Avenue in Burlington. The suspect struggled with the victim before taking his blue bank bag containing money.

Investigators said the man left in a silver Toyota Corolla with a woman driver. Police said the car was reported stolen from the Durham area. 

Police officers found the car abandoned about a block away from the bank on Bradley Street.

Police are now looking for a black male about 5'10" with a medium build and short hair. They're also looking for a black female with shoulder length braids and red stripes.
