Durham, NC -- The Bryan Center at Duke University is secure following a bomb threat Tuesday morning.
No items of concern were found after a building inspection, according to Duke's website.
An anonymous caller told Durham police a bomb was in the building.
Both university police and local authorities evacuated the building as a precaution. No information was available about the number of people who were in the building.
After the threat was reported the university a DukeALERT email and text message was sent to students, faculty and staff. Duke community members were advised to avoid the area until the building was cleared.
The Bryan Center is home to student organizations and activities at Duke. The building is located off Science Drive.
