Winston-Salem, NC - Monday afternoon police in Winston-Salem were called to an accident on US Highway 52 Northbound just south of Clemmonsville Rd. The accident involved four vehicles and one person was killed, police confirmed.

Police said their investigation revealed that Hiep Tan Truong was driving a box type truck, when he lost control and collided with the concrete median, causing chunks of the concrete to fly off and hit another car. The truck then hit head-on with a car. The person in that car was ejected and killed at the scene officers said.
The truck then rolled over, hit another car and landed on its right side. No other drivers or passenger involved were injured.
The person killed in the head-on crash was identified as Kenneth Leroy Baum, III of Kernersville.
Winston-Salem Police said this is the city's 7th fatality from a car accident.
