Burlington, NC -- A Burlington man was taken to the hospital Tuesday evening after he was wandering the streets with a cut on his face, and the man police identified as his assailant was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center.
Police said they found the victim in the 500 block of Flanner Street after they were called to that area around 6:20 pm for a disturbance in the roadway. EMS took him to Alamance Regional Medical Center. Officers said he had a non-life threatening injury.
Frank Junior Wiley was arrested and charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Assault Causing Physical Injury on a Law Enforcement Officer. Police said Wiley also had an outstanding Order for Arrest for Failure to Appear in Craven County, NC.
Wiley was taken to Alamance County Detention Center and was issued a $27,000 secured bond.
