High Point, NC -- Police in High Point are looking for the driver involved in a hit-and-run after injuring four girls walking to a park.

Investigators said the driver struck two girls walking along Cedrow Drive in High Point last Friday. They believe the other two girls were injured as a result of the others being hit.

WFMY News 2 spoke to one of the injured girls, 15-year-old  Gabrielle Smith who said she's lucky to be alive.

"I feel like, he should of stopped and see if we were okay because we could of been dead or anything," said Smith.

The other girls injured include 8-year-old, Terena Cucrera, 11-year-old, Ashanti Smith, and 15-year-old, Teriqueka Cucrera.

WFMY News 2 found out one of the girls, Teriqueka Cucrera had surgery on Thursday at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Both Teriqueka and Smith might need knee surgery in the future.
