Triad --  Tropical Storm Andrea brought plenty of rain to the Triad. The last half of the week, we had rain ahead of, during and behind the storm as it moved up the east coast. PTI airport picked up 1.91" of rain since Wednesday.

Now that the storm has exited the U.S., the eastern seaboard is enjoying a break. That made for a sunny Saturday in the Triad. Just make sure you enjoy the dry weather while it lasts. By Sunday, our break will be over.

The beginning of the day on Sunday should be dry, with some sun. Then clouds will increase during the day and there is a possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The chance stands at 60%. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

Monday will be much the same. There is another 60% rain chance on Monday. Highs will be in the low 80s.

A front will move through on Tuesday. There is a 40% chance of rain, with highs in the mid 80s.

Our best chance of a dry day will be Wednesday as the high hits the mid 80s.
