Reidsville, NC -- Power crews are hard at work, but some people aren't too pleased to hear it could be days until their lights turn back on.
O'Bryant Road, in Reidsville, took a major hit during Thursday's storms. A tree took out a power line, and that line is now drooping over the road.
And, people who live on the road could spend a little while longer in the dark. A few of them aren't happy about that, but others say we need to cut crews some slack.
"It's tough, I know that," said Robert Hackett. "But, you know they get a lot of money out of us. They get a lot of money out of power."
"I'm not frustrated. It's not even been 24 hours," exclaimed Chris Fitzpatrick. "We gotta give these guys the time to do their job."
Duke Energy says customers could be without power until late Sunday, and possibly early Monday. But, a spokesman reiterated crews are working to restore power as soon as possible.
And, time estimates could improve depending on the progress crews make this weekend.
