Only 17 days into Hurricane Season and  as second Tropical Depression has formed. Tropical Depression #2 has winds of 35 mph and is moving to the WNW at 13 mph.

There are no coastal watches or warnings currently in effect but Belize, Guatemala and Mexico will be looking at rain for the next 24 hours. Some places could pick up 2-3 inches of rain from the storm.

The storm will move inland over southern Belize Monday afternoon. It is unlikely to strengthen before it hits land.

The depression could move back out into the Bay of Campeche on Tuesday. That could cause some strengthening.

While there doesn't seem to be an immediate threat to the US, we will continue to monitor the storm.
