NORTH CAROLINA - For the first time, a tree-killing bug called the Emerald Ash Borer has been found in North Carolina.
Now, the state's agriculture commissioner is order an emergency quarantine. This means firewood or any parts of Ash Trees must not leave 3 counties along the Virginia border. The quarantined counties are Granville, Person and Vance.
North Carolina is the 20th state in the country where the destructive bug has been found. It's estimated the bug has killed more than 50 million Ash trees since 2002.
