Man Charged With Robbing 2 Stores In Thomasville

Thomasville, NC-- A man is charged with robbing two stores in Thomasville and he is also facing federal charges for those crimes.

According to Thomasville police, Dupree Dishawn Jenkins, 25 was charged Monday in connection with two armed robberies in the city. Police said Jenkins robbed the Cielito Lindo on June 13 and on June 18 he robbed Dos Toros Meat Market. Detectives said a gun was displayed in both incidents.

Jenkins is charged with two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Because he is a convicted felon, Jenkins is facing federal charges, police said. 

After his arrested Monday, Jenkins was placed under $250,000 secured bond and booked into the Davidson County Jail.
