Salisbury, NC -- A church youth leader is in jail for sex offenses with minors, according to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office.
Female, teenage members of the High Rock Community Church near Salisbury complained to deputies about inappropriate behavior by Torrey Morgan. The teenagers' complaints involved sexual activity and advances, according to the sheriff's office.
Detectives say the complaints involved "several underage victims."
Morgan, 36, is charged with misdemeanor disseminating harmful material to a minor under 18 years of age, felony disseminating harmful material to a minor under 16 years of age, 2 counts of felony indecent liberties with a child, and felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Deputies are still investigating this case; more charges are possible.
Morgan is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
