A Flash Flood Watch means expected heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue to expand and develop over the Piedmont Triad Thursday afternoon and night. The soil over the area is already saturated from recent, excessive rainfall.
