Greensboro, NC-- Police in Greensboro said two employees are okay after being locked in the freezer when the restaurant was robbed Sunday night.
Officers responded to Zoe's Kitchen on Friendly Avenue around 9:25 pm for a robbery of business call. Police were told a man came in through the back of the restaurant when an employee took out the trash. The man pulled a gun and demanded money.
Workers said he locked two of them in the freezer and two other employees ran for help at a nearby restaurant but it was closed.
The suspect grabbed some money and ran off, police said.
Employees reported that the suspect wore a mask over his face during the robbery. Investigators said no workers at Zoe's Kitchen were injured.
