Winston-Salem, NC -- Police in Winston-Salem say food was stolen from a Domino's Pizza delivery driver after he was hit in the back with a brick early Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the 7800 block of North Point Drive shortly after midnight.
They said the driver told them he saw five people as he walked towards the apartment where he was delivering food. One of the people made a motion as though he had a gun in his waistband, according to police, and hit the driver with a brick after he turned away.
The assailant, described as a 13- to 15-year-old black male, grabbed the food and ran east. Police said the four other suspects went behind the apartment building.
First responders said the driver had minor injuries and refused medical assistance.
Police are still investigating this incident and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (336) 727-2800.
