Jonesville, SC -- A man in South Carolina admitted to investigators that he killed another man because he was a sex offender, according to a report from WSPA.
Union County sheriff's deputies found Charles and Gretchen Parker dead in their home from gunshot and stab wounds.
Jeremy and Christine Moody were charged with two counts of murder Wednesday.
Jeremy told investigators that he killed Charles because he was a registered sex offender, and that he planned to kill another this week, according to WSPA.
Investigators said Jeremy planned to kill Charles last year, but changed his mind.
Surveillance video from the Parkers' home showed the Moodys and the Parkers talking outside before they were invited in the home, according to a report from the AP. It appeared the Moodys had weapons.
The Moodys are in jail with no bond. Their court date is scheduled for October 18.
