Triad -- A cold front is moving through the Triad Sunday evening. That is why a shower chance remains for the night. A stray should shower could pop up on Monday morning but after that, we should be dry until Wednesday.
The high Sunday was a balmy 85. A cold front is ushering in a new air mass tonight. Monday's high will also be 85. How does that happen? First of all, the air in front of and behind the front isn't drastically different. Plus, there should be more sun on Monday and that will cancel out any cooler air.
The thing you might notice is a little lower humidity. Dew points should drop tonight and take the humidity down a notch for Monday and Tuesday. It won't necessarily be cool and crisp but it should make for a little better hair day.
By the middle of the week, another cold front will be staring us down. The rain chance cranks back up late Wednesday and into Thursday.
By late in the week, highs will be in the mid 80s and we could potentially enjoy a dry weekend.
