Johnsontown, PA-- Just when you think you've heard it all about juveniles committing crimes, here's another head scratcher.
Police in Johnstown, PA say a 12-year-old boy is being charged with using a BB-gun in a robbery. Officers said the boy held up a 10-year-old boy who was working at his lemonade stand.
Johnstown Sgt. Patrick Goggin told the Associated Press that the robbery happened on Monday. Sgt. Goggin said the 12-year-old approached the stand with what appeared to be a handgun in his pocket and threatened the younger boy. The two boys "got into a wrestling match over the money box" and the older boy took $30 and ran away.
Three other children chased the boy home and helped police track him down. During their investigation, Sgt. Groggin said it was determined that the boy had a BB gun when he allegedly robbed the lemonade stand.
Police aren't identifying the suspect because he'll be charged in juvenile court.
