GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A Winston-Salem man who police say is responsible for breaking into a total of 11 vehicles between two strip clubs in Greensboro has been arrested.
The Greensboro Police Department said a recovered piece of stolen property led investigators to Roland Patrick Cobbins, who was arrested in his home July 23. Police did not announce Cobbins' arrest until Friday.
Investigators are accusing Cobbins of breaking into four vehicles parked at Christy's Cabaret on West Wendover Avenue and seven vehicles at Mirage Exotic Club on Burnt Poplar Road during the early hours of July 21.
Police said Cobbins stole handbags, sunglasses and electronic devices that were in plain view.
He is facing multiple charges of Breaking and Entering into a Vehicle, Larceny after Breaking and Entering and one charge of Possession of Stolen Goods.
Cobbins was taken to the Greensboro Jail Central, but was released on a $25,000 secured bond. His court date is scheduled for August 22.
