Greensboro, NC -- Five teenaged suspects are in jail Saturday morning after trying to break into a Greensboro home, police say.
It all happened just before 6 a.m.
A homeowner on Atwater Drive, who was home at the time, called police when a group of black males tried to break into the home. Detectives say one of the suspects tried to kick in the front door and had removed a window air conditioning unit to get inside the house.
The suspects ran from the scene when police arrived, but officers arrested one of them immediately. Police were able to find the four remaining suspects after a brief search.
Police arrested Jaquan Nevius, 18; Trahon Nevius, 17; Stephon Johnson, 17; Anthony Rogers, 17; and Drew Johnson, 18.
Each suspect is charged with felony conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. Police say they've also charged Stephon Johnson with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
Police are still investigating this incident.
