Police: Man Robbed, Pistol Whipped In Hotel Room

Thomasville, NC-- Investigators with the Thomasville police department have arrested one of three people who may have robbed and assaulted a man in his hotel room.

Officers said they received a robbery call at the Hospitality Studios, Saturday around 7:44 p.m. When they arrived, the victim, Ronald Everette, reported that two men came into his room armed with a gun and robbed him of money and medication. During the robbery, the victim said he was hit several times in the head with the gun by one of the men.

Everette was transported to Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center where he was treated and released. Police said Everette knew the men who attacked him. 

After investigating the crime, officers arrested and charged: Phillip Westley Lones, 26, of Lexington. Lones is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault by Pointing a Gun, and Communicating Threats.

Police said they are still looking for two other people involved in the crime: Chelsea Taylor Hall, 19, of Thomasville who is facing charges of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Aamir Ali Ahmed, 23, of Lexington. He is facing charges of: Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, and Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
