GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Weak, high pressure to our north will control Piedmont weather through Friday. A cold front will move through Friday night. This will set the stage for cooler weather and lower humidity for the weekend.
Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy with only a 20 to 30 percent chance of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Highs both days will be in the upper 80's.
The cooler and drier air will begin to filter into the area late Friday night. Saturday and Sunday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs near 82. The Sunday morning low temperatures will cool to near 60.
Our normal high temperature is 86 and our normal low is 68.
