Triad -- High pressure dominated East Coast weather all weekend. Highs were in the upper 70s to low 80s and the humidity stayed low. We have one more day like that before the sticky weather returns.
As kids head for the bus stop on Monday morning, it will be a little cool. Morning temperatures in the 50s will give the day a fall-like start. By the afternoon, the sun will be shining full force and highs will be in the low 80s. The only weather problem on Monday will be the kids staring out the window instead of paying attention.
By Tuesday, more summer-like weather will return. As our wind begins to shift and pull up out of the south, highs will return to the upper 80s and low 90s. The humidity will also make a repeat performance. The warm and muggy weather will last through Thursday.
The next front will come through on Thursday and bring the week's best rain chance. It will also cool us down a tad for Friday and the weekend. Highs will settle back closer to normal- in the mid 80s.
