GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A man was stabbed in the arm by a woman who he claims assaulted his 3-year-old daughter, according to the Greensboro Police Department.
Police went to an apartment in the 600 block of Eagle Road after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators said Brandi Secrest became violent when the man tried to stop her from harming his daughter.
EMS treated the man for minor injuries at the apartment complex; his daughter was not injured.
Police charged Secrest with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault on a Minor Under 12 and Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoid.
