GREENSBORO, N.C. -- High pressure off the East Coast will continue to provide a light south and southeasterly surface wind over the region through Saturday.
On Saturday night, a slow moving cold front will moving into the mountains of North Carolina and into the Piedmont on Sunday. It will increase our chance of scattered showers.
We will see variable clouds this afternoon with a high of 77. There will be a 30 percent chance of isolated showers mainly over the foothills.
Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low if 65. Saturday should be a nice outdoor day. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with a 50 percent chance of afternoon showers. That chance will continue Saturday night.
There will be a 30 percent chance of showers Sunday morning. The high Saturday will be 81. The high Sunday will be 76.
Our normal high temperature is 79, and our normal low is 59.
