Frigidaire issued a recall on their professional blenders, citing a laceration hazard.
The recall affects about 14,000 units. Best Buy, Target, and other stores nationwide sold the blenders from March 2012 through July 2013 for about $130. Amazon along with Bed, Bath and Beyond were among online retailers who sold the blenders.
The company received eight reports of the blender's blade shaft assembly breaking.
No injuries were reported. Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled blenders immediately.
Consumers should contact Frigidaire for instructions on returning the blenders for a free replacement.
