Greensboro, NC--A cold front will approach the area today then move across the Piedmont early Sunday morning. High pressure will build in early in the new week and bring slightly cooler and drier air to much of the East Coast.
With the cold front getting closer, clouds will thicken over the area today. Although there could be a shower this morning, shower and thunderstorm chances will increase later this afternoon and overnight. The high temperature today will be 76.
Any leftover showers early Sunday will track east of the area along with the cold front. Sunday afternoon should be partly sunny with a high of 76.
