Winston-Salem, NC -- Six month out of the year, the Pink Heals Tour travels the country to celebrate women and not breast cancer.
The tour rolled through Winston-Salem Saturday, bringing pink fire trucks and police cars through the city. The non-profit tour focuses on fundraising for people rather than causes.
"This isn't about a disease and how much money you can make for it. It's about the person that is going through a disease and how much money you can give them. Stop making money from people getting sick. That was my mission," says Dave Graybill, founder of the Pink Heals Tour.
100% of the money raised will go to a local Triad woman currently battling cancer.
Since October, the local chapter of the Pink Heals Tour has helped nine women with their fight against the disease.
