WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Members of a Winston-Salem neighborhood met Thursday to hear more about a new Wal-Mart market and voice their concerns.
The grocery store and pharmacy is coming in near the intersection of Country Club Road and Meadowlark Drive.
Some residents say the new store will be bad for traffic.
The city-county planning board approved the store earlier this month. The area was first zoned for a shopping center in 1998.
Wal-Mart representatives say the store will create 90 new jobs.
