GREENSBORO, N.C. - Activists from faith, labor, and civil rights groups rallied Saturday morning to voice their desire for Congress to pass immigration reform.
Working America organized the event, which gathered protestors in over forty cities nationwide Saturday to join their cause.
The group met at New Light Baptist Church in the morning then spent the afternoon knocking on doors throughout the city encouraging people to reach out to Congressman Howard Coble.
In a news release, Working America says they have 30,000 members in North Carolina, with 7,500 members in Greensboro.
