ASHEBORO -- The Randolph County Sheriff's Office says a man is in custody after he wrecked his motorcycle while trying to avoid a check point.
Deputies say they were conducting a check point last Thursday at Lanes Mill Road and Lambeth Mill Road, when they noticed a motorcycle turn around on Lambeth Mill Road.
They pursued the motorcycle until it wrecked on Old Siler City Road.
Joseph Kyle Foust, the driver of the motorcycle was transported to UNC Hospital where he was treated for injuries. Saturday, Foust was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving to Endanger. He was also charged with drug violations.
