NASHVILLE, T.N. (WBIR)-- A federal air marshal was arrested at Nashville International Airport Thursday after police believe he took cell phone photos underneath women's dresses and skirts as they boarded a flight.
Adam J. Bartsch was charged with disorderly conduct Friday after police said he admitted to the alleged crime.
A police affidavit said a witness grabbed Bartsch's cell phone during the boarding of Southwest Airlines flight 3132 from Nashville to Tampa and showed it to a flight attendant.
Bartsch was then taken off the flight and and sent to airport police, authorities said. He later told an officer he had taken photos under women's dresses and was taken into custody.
Bartsch was jailed under a $10,000 bond.
The Transportation Security Administration released a statement saying, "TSA does not tolerate criminal behavior. The agency immediately removed this individual from his current duties and is in the process of suspending or terminating his employment. TSA continues to assist with the investigation."
