DANVILLE, Va. -- Zeyuan Flooring International Corp. will locate its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Danville, according to the Regional Industrial Authority and Industrial Development Authority of Danville.
The announcement means 100 jobs will come to the city over a three-year period. Zeyuan will invest $15 million in Danville.
The RIFA says it will provide the land in Cane Creek to allow Zeyuan to build a 40,000 sq. ft. facility. Officials expect the construction to take nine months.
Zeyuan will operate out of GOK International next door - with a small staff - while the new building is under construction.
Zeyuan has been processing solid wood flooring in China for the past 15 years. The company produces several styles of hardwood flooring, wood composite series, bamboo flooring, and parquet flooring.
The products made there will be exported to Canada, several countries in Europe, as well others, and sold throughout the U.S.
Andy Yang of GOK International is the company's contact for all job inquiries while the Zeyuan facility is completed. His number is 434-791-2100.
