Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey
will miss Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts due to the same foot
injury which kept him sidelined for the first portion of the season.
"It's definitely one I hate to miss, but you know, I can't play," Bailey said
on Friday. "I can't do anything about it -- I've just got to do what I can to
help my guys get ready."
The 35-year-old was kept out of practice the entire week due to the issue,
which has limited him to eight tackles over two games in 2013.
Tackle Orlando Franklin (ankle) was limited in practice the last two days
after missing Wednesday's session and is questionable. Guard Chris Kuper
(ankle) returned to practice after a two-day absence, but took only limited
reps on Friday and was also listed as questionable.
Denver also deemed eight players probable, including wide receiver Wes Welker,
whose ankle issue allowed him to participate fully in Friday's session after
missing Wednesday and seeing limited action on Thursday.
