GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police say they assisted the Fire Department with a house fire that left one person dead Sunday morning.
The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m. at 3900 Repon Street and dispatchers told WFMY News 2 one person was confirmed to have exited the home safely while another did not make it.
In a news release, Greensboro Police said they found a body in the residence deceased. They believe the victim to be resident Nancy Elise Hensley. Police are working with the Medical Examiners to confirm positive identification for her. She was 69 years old.
