GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Customers at a local Chick-fil-A got a nice surprise Wednesday morning when they tried to pay for their food.
Employees say a mystery woman gave them $100 to pay for the people behind her in the drive-thru. The money paid for 27 people, and some of those paid it forward and bought food for the people behind them.
And, this isn't the first time the mystery woman has done a good deed at the Chick-fil-A. Employees say she pays for food for at least one person behind her several times a month.
Wednesday's good deed was even more special because it was World Kindness Day. But, the people who know the mystery woman say she would have done this any day.
