GREENSBORO, N.C. - It's the world's largest airline merger. The federal government approved an 11 billion dollar deal that allows U.S. Airways to buy American Airlines.
On Wednesday, WFMY News 2 went to Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro to see what sort of impact this would have on flights and jobs.
A spokesperson with PTI says as of right now, all services will be preserved. This means PTI won't feel any impact of the merger, but It's still unclear if any flight changes will be made in the future.
