Hampton, Va. - The CIAA announced Sunday the 2013 Volleyball Championship has been rescheduled and moved.
It was originally scheduled for Saturday at Winston Salem State University.

In a news release on Sunday CIAA Commissioner Jacqie Carpenter says the board of directors and the schools involved agreed to the move.
"There was a clear interest in exploring ways to resume the volleyball championship," said CIAA Commissioner Jacqie Carpenter. Fayetteville State kindly agreed to be the host, and we're grateful that our student-athletes will have this opportunity to compete."
The four schools vying for the championship are Chowan University, Fayetteville State University, Virginia State University and Winston-Salem State University.
The matches will happen at the Felton J. Capel Arena on FSU's campus.

This weekend's tournament was cancelled at Winston-Salem State following an attack on the school's quarterback during an awards banquet.
A Virginia State student was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault. The CIAA banned VSU from all post season play as a result.
