Greensboro and Graham police officers, along with the SBI, arrested Clapp on Tuesday at his home in Graham.

Prosecutors charged him with first-degree kidnapping, felonious restraint, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, assault by strangulation, assault on a female and communicating threats.

Clapp is in the Guilford County Jail under a $200,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

On Friday, police said a Pop Shoppe employee called about a missing co-worker. Shortly after the report, they received multiple 911 calls about a "possible assault or kidnapping." Police said the woman disappeared from the store and reappeared in a nearby wooded area. She asked people in a home for help.
