Vehicle Hits Greensboro Police Officer

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- On Tuesday night, a vehicle hit a Greensboro police officer who was investigating an accident.

It happened just after 7 p.m. in the 3200 block of South Elm-Eugene Street.

Police say the driver was going north on South Elm-Eugene Street before losing control of his vehicle.

Doctors treated the officer for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating this incident. No charges have been filed against the driver.
