Most people forget something over the holidays whether it's a gift or an ingredient, but there's one thing you can't afford to forget and that is your personal safety.
Sunday, WFMY News 2 talked to Corporal Jeff Carter with the Greensboro Police Department about tips everyone needs to be reminded of, especially this time of year.
"Walk with confidence, keep your head up, and pay attention to your surroundings," Carter said. "When you meet people, make a little bit of eye contact, a short greeting. Just so they know that you've seen them and acknowledged them. That helps a whole lot."
Corporal Carter also suggests covering up the gifts in your car with a blanket so no one can really see what's in there.
