Lockdown Lifted For 3 Rowan County Schools

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- WBTV is reporting that the lockdown at three Rowan County schools has been lifted, following law enforcement activity in the area.

During the lockdown, WCNC-TV said the Rowan County Sheriff's Office and the Spencer Police Department were in the area looking for breaking and entering suspects. They have three suspects in custody, but officers were looking for a fourth suspect.

WCNC is still reporting that the fourth suspect is on the loose.

The schools affected by the lockdown included North Rowan County High, North Rowan Middle and North Rowan Elementary schools.
