JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. -- One of six U.S. troops killed Tuesday after a helicopter crash in Afghanistan is from North Carolina.
WRAL-TV identified the man as Chris Bohler from Johnston County.
According to CBS News, insurgents attacked the Black Hawk helicopter after the landing. It is not clear if the soldiers died from the landing or during the attack.
CBS spoke with two U.S. defense officials who said one person on the helicopter survived.
