Another Arctic Cold Front Headed Our Way

GREENSBORO, NC--Arctic high pressure will move off the East Coast today. Moisture will build over the area as another Arctic cold front approaches and moves through Sunday night. Much colder Arctic air will move into the Piedmont Monday night through Wednesday.

It is a very frost start to our Saturday morning as temperatures have chilled into the mid teens. At least the winds are light to near calm under a clear sky. We will see lot's of sunshine today with a high near 40. Clouds will increase tonight and there is a chance of light freezing rain or drizzle after midnight. The low will be near 30.

There will be a chance of freezing rain or drizzle early Sunday morning then a chance of rain in the afternoon as the Arctic cold front gets closer. The high on Sunday will be 44. Rain will end Monday morning as snow showers.

The very cold Arctic air will continue to pour into the Piedmont on Monday. the high will be 37. With a clear sky, the low Monday night will be near 8. Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny and very cold. The high Tuesday will be only in the mid 20's. The low Tuesday night will be 13. Wednesday's high will be 35. Clouds will increase on Thursday as temperatures moderate. There will be a chance of shower Thursday afternoon. The high will be in the mid 40's.

Our normal high temperature is 48, and our normal low is 30.
