Burlington Kay Jewelers Robbed at Gunpoint: Police

BURLINGTON, NC - Two men are wanted for robbing a Triad-area Jewelry store Monday night. 

Two men broke into Kay Jewelers at Alamance Crossing Shopping Center in Burlington and took jewelry around 8:40 according to the Burlington Police Department. The robbery happened during the middle of a thunderstorm. 

Security footage showed the men breaking through the display cases with a hammer to take the jewelry. They took off running through the parking lot. There were no injuries.

One of men had a black and silver handgun. Both were described as around 5-feet, 8-inches tall.
